Case Study: Alaska Airlines boosts mobile workforce engagement with Xamarin

A Xamarin Case Study

Preview of the Alaska Airlines Case Study

Alaska Airlines - Customer Case Study

Alaska Airlines sought to become the easiest airline to fly, a goal that relied on its large mobile workforce. The challenge was to fully equip their 15,000 employees with tools to access company information and travel benefits from their personal devices, thereby improving engagement and customer service. To achieve this, they partnered with vendor Xamarin to develop a suite of mobile applications.

The solution from Xamarin involved creating a roadmap of over 30 employee apps for major mobile platforms. The resulting tools, like the "Hopper" app, provided a consumer-grade experience for tasks like automatic check-in. This Xamarin solution, integrated with Microsoft's development services, led to a more engaged, productive, and customer-focused workforce through a fully automated DevOps process.
