Cegal, a global provider of hybrid cloud solutions, software and consultancy for the oil and gas industry, faced a challenge producing large, complex documents—notably 300–400 page RFPs and other governance and product documents—with dispersed subject-matter experts using Word and file sharing. To enable real-time collaboration and reliable co-authoring, Cegal adopted Xait’s co-authoring platform, XaitPorter.

Xait implemented XaitPorter with custom templates, training and integrations (for example, Salesforce), so contributors only add content while formatting and layout are handled centrally. As a result, Cegal achieved clear time savings, consistent higher-quality documents across departments and regions, easier content reuse, and the ability to get more done with fewer people—freeing capacity for more value-adding work.
