PTC Produces More Proposals in Half the Time using XaitPorter

PTC, a developer and supplier of gas lift and wellhead products, was struggling to produce large, consistent tenders using Word and Excel: formatting errors, versioning headaches and siloed work meant they routinely spent about 1.5 workdays fixing documents. To solve this, PTC engaged Xait and began using XaitPorter to move beyond manual Word-based processes.

Xait implemented XaitPorter’s database-driven co-authoring and templating solution, providing automatic formatting, reusable approved content and real-time version control so teams in Norway, Abu Dhabi, Brazil and the US could work in parallel. As a result, PTC reports at least 50% time savings on proposal production, completed about ten concurrent tenders in 12 months without hiring extra staff, and now produces more consistent, correctly formatted tenders.
