Hepworth Group, a British designer and manufacturer of windscreen wiping systems, washing equipment and control systems, needed to rapidly produce large volumes of accurate quotations to expand into marine and rail sectors. They required automatically generated CAD drawings and reliable handling of many product permutations, and selected Xait and its XaitCPQ® solution to meet those needs.
Xait implemented XaitCPQ® to capture Hepworth’s product options and pricing rules in a calculation engine, automate CAD drawing generation, and enforce powerful configuration rules (with integration to SAP), enabling non‑technical staff and distributors to produce professional quotes. As a result, Xait helped Hepworth cut average quotation time from half a day to twenty minutes (amendments from ~2 hours to minutes), scale sales capacity by a reported factor of twelve without adding overhead, and better support a global distributor network.
