A WPP Case Study
Nationwide Building Society partnered with The Diana Award, a youth charity, to support its anti-bullying initiatives in UK schools. Their challenge was to raise awareness of a virtual Big Assembly event and a campaign to train Anti-Bullying Ambassadors. WPP's agency, Wavemaker, was tasked with driving this awareness among schoolchildren and parents.
Wavemaker implemented a multi-channel campaign for Nationwide. The solution included advertising on LinkedIn, Twitter, and Sprint Education, a partnership with ITV's Loose Women that featured TV spots, and an influencer outreach program with parents sharing personal stories. The campaign reached close to 45% of all primary school children in the UK, equating to more than two million children, and successfully drove conversation around the anti-bullying cause.
