A WorkStep Case Study
NFI, a third-party logistics company with 250+ locations across North America and 14,000+ employees, wanted to improve onboarding and reduce employee turnover. To address the challenge, the company partnered with WorkStep and used WorkStep Retain to better understand why frontline workers were leaving and where retention problems were occurring.
WorkStep began with a pilot in 14 locations, giving NFI actionable data on onboarding gaps and turnover drivers so the team could make quick improvements across the organization. As a result, NFI saw a 36% decrease in new hire turnover in the first month of employment, an 18% decrease in overall turnover, a 2% increase in new hire satisfaction, and a 3% increase in new hire preparedness. WorkStep also helped NFI improve responsiveness and save time for HR, allowing the team to focus more on employee engagement initiatives.
