A WorkStep Case Study
Meat Product Leader, a food and agriculture company with more than 20,000 employees, faced a difficult recruiting environment for general labor and production roles, especially at remote facilities where attracting candidates was challenging. With limited organic applicant flow and higher turnover in a tough-to-fill frontline workforce, the company turned to WorkStep for support.
WorkStep launched an initial pilot at two of the company’s most challenging locations, then expanded to the broader production network through the WorkStep Hire platform and retention feedback tools. The results were strong: the company was able to source over 400 hires from the WorkStep network in a single month, improve 90-day new hire retention by 17% versus baseline, and achieve a 78% recommendation rate among WorkStep hires.
