Support employee wellbeing via Workplace groups and competitions

DFS, the UK’s largest furniture retailer with over 110 stores and multiple factories and distribution centres, wanted to boost employee wellbeing and encourage healthier lifestyles across its dispersed workforce. To drive engagement and peer-to-peer sharing around social, physical, nutritional, financial and emotional wellbeing, DFS used Workplace from Meta to create a dedicated "Living Well" group.

Using Workplace from Meta, DFS launched a #HealthySelfie hashtag campaign and competition—encouraging staff to post healthy photos for a chance to win a Fitbit or lifestyle vouchers. The campaign generated strong participation, with more than 320 selfies submitted from Retail, Production, Supply Chain, Head Office and International teams, significantly increasing engagement and visibility for the Living Well programme.
