Using Workplace from Meta, DFS’s people team created default groups for all new joiners (including DFS Lifestyle & Benefits, Living Well, Health & Safety, Charity at DFS, Team DFS, DFS Careers and Making the Most Out of Workplace), set clear group objectives and drove engagement. The approach improved accessibility and engagement, helped DFS earn a place in the Sunday Times’ Best Big Companies to Work For ranking, and supported a culture where 82% of staff agree they “can make a valuable contribution to the success of the organisation.”
