Branch Furniture, a creator of thoughtfully designed office furnishings, wanted to understand the true performance and return on investment of its Connected TV (CTV) advertising, which was difficult to measure through traditional methods due to complex customer journeys across devices. The company turned to vendor WorkMagic to implement a geo-based incrementality test to quantify the channel's impact on sales and new customer acquisition.
WorkMagic executed a controlled test across multiple markets, comparing regions exposed to CTV ads with a control group that was not. The solution revealed that the CTV campaign, run in partnership with Tatari, drove a 4.18% incremental lift in Shopify orders and an overall incremental ROAS of 1.46x across Shopify and Amazon. Furthermore, 86% of the orders came from new customers, validating CTV as a top-performing channel for Branch and giving them the confidence to increase their investment.
