IBM builds new apps using Workday technology

IBM, the multinational technology and services company, needed a better way to consolidate siloed systems and make data easier to find and use across its enterprise. Workday helped IBM build new apps on a secure, integrated platform, starting with a Payslip app that connects Workday HCM with third-party and IBM cloud APIs. The solution consolidated four systems into one UI and security model, cut pay-info access time from 24 hours to seconds, and reduced development and maintenance effort by 25%–50%.
