IMAGR, a frictionless retail pioneer based in Auckland (with offices in Osaka), needed an ATS that would improve candidate communication, team collaboration and integrate seamlessly with their HRIS, BambooHR. Their previous system couldn’t deliver a single source of hiring truth, made it hard to track candidate and recruiter communications, and was difficult to roll out company-wide during a period of rapid growth.

Workable was implemented within a week and provided a single source of truth, automatic transfer of new-hire data to BambooHR, an external recruiter portal for better coordination in Japan, and tools like the Candidate Source Report and broad job board distribution. Over a year IMAGR grew from 25 to 41 employees with 14 new hires, achieved faster remote hires during COVID, smoother onboarding and improved candidate experience and retention.
