Case Study: Stämpfli achieves streamlined print and digital publishing with WoodWing Software

A WoodWing Software Case Study

Preview of the Stampfli Case Study

Streamlining print and digital publishing through channel-neutral content creation

Stampfli, a Swiss graphic arts company and publishing house, faced the long-standing challenge of creating channel‑neutral production flows that were simple enough for editors to use and that allowed reuse of longer articles across print and digital. After evaluating options, Stampfli selected WoodWing Software’s Inception (now part of WoodWing Studio) to replace cumbersome, multi‑step copy‑and‑paste workflows and to enable a more intuitive, “story‑first” editorial process.

WoodWing Software worked with Stampfli (and partner a&f systems ag) to implement WoodWing Studio, first piloting the solution on the ZHAW IMPACT magazine; the team moved from manual copy‑paste to a story‑first workflow, trained editors, and has since published four editions under the new process. The result: simplified day‑to‑day tasks, centralized content storage, built‑in multimedia support, one‑click publishing to websites, mobile apps and the Swiss Media Database, better coordination across teams, and broad client adoption of the story‑first approach.
