Case Study: Yamaha Motor Europe achieves fast, consistent multichannel content orchestration with WoodWing Software

A WoodWing Software Case Study

Preview of the Yamaha Motor Europe Case Study

How Yamaha Motor Europe succeeded with Content Orchestration

Yamaha Motor Europe faced a classic Content Spaghetti problem: distributed teams producing brochures and promotional material across 26 languages, numerous products and thousands of stakeholders (product managers, dealers, agencies, translators, photographers, printers) with assets and workflows spread across unconnected systems. To solve this, Yamaha engaged Graphit together with vendor WoodWing Software and adopted WoodWing Assets (DAM) and WoodWing Studio (workflow) plus modules for page planning, content exchange and EasyCatalog Server for pagination.

Graphit and WoodWing Software implemented an integrated editorial workflow tied into InRiver PIM and Adobe InDesign automation, enabling automatic creation and web previews of 26 localized brochure versions and controlled distribution to over 3,000 distributors who can edit and submit localized content for approval. The solution improved permissions and metadata control, ensured 24/7 asset availability for agencies, and delivered a measurable impact — within a month Yamaha supplied embargoed images across Europe on time for EICMA (last photos arriving just one hour before deadline), prompting Yamaha to say, “WoodWing has rescued us.”
