A WoodWing Software Case Study
Fratelli Carli, the century-old Italian olive oil and specialty foods retailer, was struggling with exponential growth in marketing campaigns that led to disk-space problems and widespread asset duplication across departments. To centralize resources and deliver consistent multichannel customer communication, Fratelli Carli selected WoodWing Software’s Elvis DAM and Enterprise publishing system to link planning, creation, production and distribution within their existing environment.
WoodWing Software, working with partner GMDE, mapped and re-engineered Fratelli Carli’s workflows, ran a proof of concept and rolled out Elvis and Enterprise to about 40 users across ten roles, integrating with Adobe InDesign and a GIM PIM. The deployment delivered centralized versioning and content sharing, disk-space optimization, faster prepress via an InDesign plug-in, integrated campaign and order workflows, and improved collaboration with agencies — measurable productivity gains and a single archive for publications and communications.
