How Drees Homes enhanced their digital asset management and improved their end-users’ experience

Drees Homes, a 90‑year‑old, family‑owned home builder operating in many U.S. markets, faced decentralized image assets, no central library and manual metadata entry that made online home visuals inaccurate and workflows slow. To fix this, Drees Homes chose WoodWing Software’s Elvis DAM to centralize, tag and manage location‑specific home assets so customers see accurate options by market.

WoodWing Software implemented Elvis DAM (with integration partner CyanGate) via a three‑day analysis, proof of concept and phased roll‑out, bulk‑ingesting 15,000 assets and integrating the DAM with Drees Homes’ CMS and PIM. The result: marketing workflow times cut by one‑third, more than 300 users (40–50 daily), 20,000 additional assets added (≈35,000 total), a searchable central library, improved image accuracy and faster nationwide processes — all supporting scalable growth through WoodWing Software’s open API.
