How a publisher managed to never lose assets again

Schlütersche Verlagsgesellschaft, a Hannover-based publisher, struggled with very image-heavy book workflows (up to 500 images per title), where finding assets was time-consuming and lost images forced costly repurchases. To address this, the publisher—already using WoodWing’s Enterprise—chose WoodWing Software’s Elvis DAM to provide an integrated digital asset management layer that would prevent image loss and streamline retrieval.

WoodWing Software implemented Elvis DAM (with partners a&f systems gmbh and mediatluxx) and integrated it with Enterprise, including a plug-in to pre-check image print-size/resolution; the rollout was completed in just a few days. As a result, repurchases of lost images were reduced significantly, many hours of image research and data transfer were saved, image management and copyright metadata improved, and overall publishing efficiency and cost savings increased.
