Co-creation Enables Digital Transformation of the P2P Function

Leading U.S. Insurance Company partnered with WNS to transform a manual, fragmented Procure-to-Pay (P2P) function that was causing payment delays, maverick spend, and weak governance. The insurer needed a more digital, standardized process to improve compliance, SLA performance, and end-to-end efficiency.

WNS co-created and implemented a global P2P solution using analytics, ERP consolidation, automation, e-invoicing, and self-service vendor portals. The results included about USD 1 million in productivity gains, USD 2.46 million in savings from duplicate invoice elimination, a 30% reduction in PR-to-PO cycle time, 94% electronic payments, and 98% PO penetration across ~USD 2.2 billion in spend.
