Celebi Identifies $2 Million in Savings at the Start of a Transformational Roadmap for its End-to-End Procurement Process

Celebi Aviation Holding, a global ground aviation handling company with offices and subsidiaries across Europe, needed to transform its procurement function to reduce paper-heavy, manual inefficiencies and gain better visibility into spend and performance. The company partnered with WNS for a consulting engagement focused on defining a global Target Operating Model and building a more strategic, scalable purchasing process.

WNS implemented a two-year transformation roadmap using process automation, analytics, Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and process engineering, along with redesigned procurement processes and a “Combined Procurement Group” to unlock collective buying power. The results included 49 gaps identified, up to a 50% reduction in cycle time, and an estimated USD 2.2 million in spend reduction through standardization, automation, digital signatures, and e-procurement, while also improving supplier visibility and rationalization.
