A WNS Case Study
Global Investment Management Firm, a leading global asset manager, needed a way to investigate a very large, multinational portfolio of investee companies more deeply than standard fundamental research allowed. Its onshore analysts were focused on investment strategy and execution, leaving limited capacity to uncover fraud risks, negative news, related-party issues, and accounting or governance red flags across thousands of securities.
WNS implemented an investigative research and due diligence solution, including a 50+ parameter risk analytics and grading model, a quick-grading prioritization tool, and structured due diligence reports. WNS reviewed more than 10,000 investee entities and identified serious concerns in 40% of a tested base of 300 previously “buy” or “hold” companies, helping improve issue detection, strengthen investment decisions, and mitigate financial and governance risks.
