Zendesk, a customer-support software company, wanted to explain why it exists—helping companies build more human relationships with their customers—without resorting to the usual “problem/solution” software marketing. The challenge was to communicate product value in an engaging, sincere way that didn’t feel like a hard sell.
They produced a low‑budget, humorous short video that shows how Zendesk facilitates human customer relationships rather than just talking about features. The clip delivered strong engagement (52,394 page loads by 43,834 people; 94% played the video for a total of 446,828 plays and 1,371.2 hours watched, with an average view of 72%) and produced tangible benefits: inbound production requests, sales and recruiting value, and positive customer mentions.
