The Armani Hotel Dubai is working with Winnow to help the UAE save 3 million meals by 2020

Armani Hotel Dubai, part of Emaar Hospitality Group, faced the challenge of reducing food waste across its seven restaurants while maintaining high service standards and supporting sustainability goals. In March 2018, the hotel partnered with Winnow to better track waste in its kitchens and identify which dishes were being thrown away most often.

Using Winnow’s AI-driven analytics and reporting tools, the team adjusted production levels and replaced less popular dishes with better-performing options. The results were a 47% reduction in food waste, an estimated annual saving of AED 148,000, and the equivalent of more than 117,000 meals saved each year, while also contributing to the UAE’s broader food-saving goals.
