Hilton Clark Sun Valley Resort, a premium hotel in Pampanga, wanted to support Hilton’s Travel with Purpose goal of cutting food waste while preserving an exceptional guest experience. To do this, the resort brought in Winnow, using its food waste reporting and analytics tools to better understand what was being thrown away and where improvements could be made.

With Winnow, Hilton Clark Sun Valley Resort optimized buffet portions, increased refill frequency, and adjusted menu and supplier choices based on waste data. The result was a 30% reduction in food waste in 4 months, 17,000 meals saved from landfill, ₱240,766 in food cost savings, and 30 tonnes of CO2 emissions prevented.
