Club Med Bali, a luxury all-inclusive resort in Indonesia, wanted to strengthen its long-standing sustainability efforts by cutting food waste further. In January 2018, the resort brought in Winnow and its digital food waste tools to help the team understand where waste was happening and reduce it across operations.

With Winnow, Club Med Bali installed the system, reviewed reports daily, and adjusted production based on the insights. In just six months, Winnow helped the resort reduce food waste by 56%, save 420,000,000 IDR (about 28,700 USD), and avoid 6.7 tonnes of CO2, while also reinvesting savings into higher-quality food and ingredients.
