Willow Bend Pediatrics, a five-provider pediatric practice in Plano, Texas, struggled with a recurring back-to-school scheduling crunch as parents delayed booking well visits until late summer. To help manage the growing demand and improve recall outreach, the practice worked with West Corporation and its automated notification solution after prior postcard reminders proved costly and ineffective.

West Corporation replaced the postcard campaign with automated voice notifications, helping Willow Bend Pediatrics educate parents and spread well visits more evenly through the summer. The results included a 60% response rate to recall notifications, up to a 13% monthly increase in well visits, 267 additional visits over June-August 2014 versus 2013, an estimated $43,770 in added revenue, and about a 75% reduction in recall communication costs.
