Case Study: Dell achieves faster launches and smoother design-to-development handoffs with Webflow

A Webflow Case Study

Dell uses Webflow to bridge the design-development gap

Dell’s Customer Experience design team at Dell, a 50+ person group, struggled with a bloated internal component system that was costly to maintain and unfriendly to non‑technical designers. They needed a code‑free tool that supported web and desktop prototyping and improved communication with engineering; after evaluating eight prototyping products, they selected Webflow.

Using Webflow, Dell designers start from a master template with brand styles and components to build and publish full‑fidelity prototypes so engineers can inspect real front‑end code (including hover states, transitions and interactions). Webflow’s solution cut down on redlining and back‑and‑forth, aligned design and engineering workflows, and helped teams launch faster.
