JetBlue Airways launched JetBlue Scholars to help crewmembers afford college amid rising tuition costs, but the program required a scalable, first-of-its-kind technology to support self-directed learners and give administrators the tools to manage progress and outcomes. The challenge was to create a seamless, self-service experience that aggregated diverse course providers while enabling mentorship and administrative oversight.

Webanywhere built MyDegree on Totara to aggregate JetBlue‑approved courses, quizzes and exams, provide custom degree paths, real‑time tracking, enrollment and a Success Coach dashboard for communication and course approval. The platform won a Brandon Hall Gold award and delivered measurable impact: a 60% reduction in educational assistance costs, an 83% increase in administrative and coaching efficiency, an NPS of 87, 88% of Scholars report increased job engagement and 96% say they’re more committed to staying at JetBlue.
