Arizona Digestive Health (ADH), a large gastroenterology and hepatology practice with 27 locations, 63 providers and more than 20,000 claims submitted monthly, needed a new clearinghouse to support its high-volume, decentralized billing model after its no-cost vendor was being phased out. After evaluating options, ADH selected Waystar for a clearinghouse and claims-management solution that could handle its unique workflow and connectivity needs.

Waystar implemented automated claims management—submission, ERA and remittance posting, payment posting and denial management—plus customized logins and filters to support each office’s billing responsibilities, real-time reporting, and enhanced search tools. As a result, ADH eliminated the manual processing of roughly 25% of EOBs, reduced posting errors, increased efficiency and accelerated payments across its 20,000+ monthly claims; the practice now has about 50 Waystar users logging in daily.
