Transco Abu Dhabi Invests In LED Display Solutions

Transco Abu Dhabi, a subsidiary of Abu Dhabi Water & Electricity Authority (ADWEA), needed a way to ensure transparency and real‑time monitoring across its National, Temperature and Water Control Centers to support planning, construction and operation of the Emirate’s transmission network. To meet this challenge Transco Abu Dhabi engaged Wavetec to provide LED display solutions, including full‑colour LED tickers driven by Wavetec’s Donatello Suite, that could integrate with their existing systems.

Wavetec installed LED tickers in the NCC, TCC and WCC (in collaboration with Siemens) and integrated Donatello Suite with Transco’s SCADA, enabling live display of Time, Date, Frequency, Time deviation, Total MW, Total MVAR, temperature and humidity. The Wavetec solution gives operators real‑time visibility to make faster, better‑informed decisions, improves data dissemination across control rooms and supports operational excellence as demand on Abu Dhabi’s power and water networks grows.
