A Wavetec Case Study

Preview of the Mexican Stock Exchange Case Study

The Mexican Stock Exchange installs the biggest Indoor LED display in Latin America

The Mexican Stock Exchange (BMV), Mexico’s second-largest stock market, needed to modernize its information-distribution channels to deliver real-time financial data and refresh both its trading-floor and exterior tickers. To address this, the exchange engaged Wavetec, a leading LED Display Solutions vendor (working alongside Thomson Reuters for data), to replace aging indoor displays and add a high-visibility exterior ticker so investors, shareholders and brokers would have timely, reliable market information.

Wavetec implemented a turnkey solution—design, production, installation, maintenance and the Wavetec Donatello Studio software—installing a curved indoor full‑color LED display with over 3 million pixels and a perimeter exceeding 54 meters around the press conference room (the largest indoor LED in Latin America) plus a curved 40‑meter exterior LED ticker with Japanese display technology for weather-resistant brightness. The project modernized BMV’s aesthetics and functionality, delivering high-resolution, continuous market visibility and an integrated platform for real-time data dissemination.
