Ministry of Health UAE, the federal body responsible for implementing healthcare policy, was struggling with heavy footfall, long unorganized waits, an unintegrated patient-flow system, no centralized reporting and unclear visa-service workflows. To tackle these issues the Ministry engaged Wavetec to deliver a Patient Flow Management System, including Queue Management and Digital Signage Solutions.
Wavetec integrated its queueing platform with MOH’s backend, added online appointments with barcode-enabled ticketing kiosks, digital signage and customized automated workflows for visa processes to guide patients step-by-step. The solution centralized reporting, removed crowded service areas with a virtual queue, enabled per-day appointment limits and automated notifications; Wavetec completed the project on time, provided UAE-based support, and the Ministry reported a drastic reduction in customer complaints and a smoother, more efficient patient experience.
