The Liquor Control Board of Ontario (LCBO) needed a better way to manage high foot traffic and long lines, especially during peak hours and holidays. To improve the checkout experience, LCBO worked with Wavetec and implemented the UNOQ/Linear Queue solution to reduce customer frustration and streamline queue management.
Wavetec installed its UNOQ/Linear Queue system with station lights and a bilingual media player to guide customers to the next available cashier in English and French. The result was shorter wait times, a smoother checkout process, improved customer satisfaction, and greater operational efficiency for staff at LCBO.
