EGADE Business School, the graduate business school of Tecnológico de Monterrey, needed a turnkey solution to create a mock stock trading floor in its Financial Lab so finance students could learn with real-time visual aids and interactive displays. EGADE engaged Wavetec to supply financial display solutions—including a long LED ticker and related infrastructure—to recreate a trading-floor environment for teaching practical market mechanics.
Wavetec installed a 32 m × 26 cm LED ticker (7,872 × 64 pixels) bordering the lab, integrated with a Thomson Reuters feed to disseminate live market data, and linked the setup to its virtual stock market simulation. The Wavetec solution gives students hands‑on experience applying finance concepts to live trading data, improves engagement and realism in the classroom, and builds on Wavetec’s proven track record (serving 25 stock exchanges) in financial-display and simulation technology.
