A Wavetec Case Study
Dubai Police, a force of about fifteen thousand employees with some of the busiest customer service areas in the UAE, faced heavy footfall (600–1,100 visitors per station per day) and needed to eliminate long physical queues, capture visitor feedback, support bilingual communications, and centralize reporting and user management. To address these challenges they selected Wavetec’s Electronic Queue Management Solution.
Wavetec implemented a combination of ticket-dispensing KIOSKs (two per station), Counter Display Units, software-based Teller Stations, LCD plasma screens with Media Controllers, a Central Reporting System on Oracle, and a Comprehensive User Management Application across more than 12 police stations. The Wavetec solution created virtual queues, reduced perceived waiting times, enabled real-time monitoring and station performance reports, streamlined staff account transfers between branches, and added multilingual and feedback capabilities—allowing Dubai Police to reliably manage high visitor volumes while improving customer experience and operational oversight.
