Crowne Plaza’s vaccination centre in Riyadh, set up by the Ministry of Defence to serve 1,000–1,500 people daily, needed a monitored queue management solution to keep visitors and staff safe, maintain social distancing, shorten queues and minimize perceived wait times while meeting regular reporting requirements. Wavetec was chosen to deliver a digital queueing and visitor experience stack, including 15 Desktop 10” touchscreens with Bixolon printers, Donatello media players, HardTSU calling units and Spectra dashboards and reporting software.

Wavetec implemented a virtual ticketing and calling system integrated with appointment check‑in (Sehaty), digital signage and real‑time dashboards, plus personalized ticket journeys for patients. The solution delivered managed, socially distanced queues, shorter waits, improved customer satisfaction, streamlined Ministry reporting, better resource utilization and reduced operational costs; Crowne Plaza is already planning four additional branches using Wavetec’s system.
