Cable and Wireless chooses Wavetec’s SIM Dispensing Solution to provide customers with an easy way of completing daily transactions

Cable & Wireless Seychelles (CWS), the nation’s leading telecommunications provider, faced aging self‑service infrastructure that limited operating hours, service flows and payment options, increased operational complexity, and constrained the rollout of new products. To modernize customer touchpoints and support a paperless strategy, CWS selected Wavetec’s SIM Dispensing Solution and self‑service kiosks to upgrade its in‑branch and out‑of‑branch service capabilities.

Wavetec deployed kiosks that add card and cash payments, QR/barcode bill payments, SIM vending and dispensing, booster/data purchases, eTopUp and digital‑signage marketing, delivering 24/7 access and new customer flows. The Wavetec solution has enabled CWS to introduce new services and packages, extend service hours across more than 30 locations, boost customer engagement through targeted promotions, and support CWS’s paperless push (avoiding roughly 115 trees’ worth of paper annually), while addressing prior operational constraints.
