Almoosa Specialist Hospital partnered with Wavetec to manage a new Covid-19 vaccination centre set up in a nearby college building. Facing concerns about waiting-room crowding, staff and visitor safety, social distancing and ease of installation, the hospital chose Wavetec’s Queue Management System (the classic Queue Management package) to streamline appointment flow and control occupancy.

Wavetec deployed AIO ticket kiosks with dual printers, Donatello LED displays and media players, Spectra reporting and dashboards and Web TMS, delivering real-time queue updates, visual guidance and contactless ticketing. The solution reduced crowding and infection risk, required no extra staff, enabled 24/7 service across 10 counters with shorter waits, and provided data-driven resource optimization—supporting an expected throughput of about 1,000 tickets per day while improving safety and operational efficiency.
