A Wavetec Case Study
Marylebone Station, a busy London railway terminus serving more than 32,000 passengers daily, needed a better way to manage service desk queues and passenger flow. Limited infrastructure meant station indicator lights had to be ceiling-mounted, making traditional counter-based systems impractical and causing confusion during peak periods. Marylebone Station turned to Wavetec for a linear queue management solution.
Wavetec implemented its UNO-Q call-forward system with Donatello digital signage and ceiling-mounted acrylic station lights to guide passengers clearly without counter-mounted lights. The solution improved passenger flow, reduced confusion, and made staff queue control more efficient, creating a more organized waiting environment and a smoother service experience for passengers.
