A WalkMe Case Study

WalkMe supports LinkedIn's rapid growth by enabling faster, more efficient use of existing software tools

LinkedIn, a fast‑growing professional network, faced a scaling challenge: as headcount rose, relying on white‑glove HR and support for its HCM and homegrown sales tools became unsustainable. The company needed a way to improve self‑service and drive tool adoption without pulling employees away from their work or overburdening trainers.

LinkedIn implemented WalkMe’s Digital Adoption Platform—integrated Walk‑Thrus and contextual SmartTips—to guide users through 36 key transactions and surface help at the point of need. The result was faster, more efficient tool use: ~9,100 employees engaged with WalkMe content, 36 Walk‑Thrus were played ~1,500 times, 50 SmartTips were viewed nearly 284,000 times by over 8,000 employees, and live training decreased by about 43%, boosting productivity and reducing frustration.
