A VWO Case Study
Us, a Belgium-based digital marketing agency, used VWO to help its eCommerce client e5 improve checkout performance. The challenge was that many shoppers added products to their carts but didn’t continue into the checkout flow, and analysis in GA4 and session recordings suggested the cart-add confirmation was too easy to miss.
Using VWO, Us ran an A/B test that replaced a small add-to-cart confirmation box with a more prominent popup confirmation. The change increased users proceeding to checkout by 22.31%, improved the conversion rate from the first checkout page to the next by 32.57%, and lifted payment completion by 19.39%; expected value per visitor also rose from $1.91 to $2.32.
