Tiendeo, a Barcelona-based retailing company founded in 2010 that digitizes print catalogs and reaches more than 17 million users monthly across 31+ countries, wanted to get more of their newsletters read and drive app and website return visits using push notifications. To tackle this, Tiendeo chose VWO and its push-notification solution, VWO Engage.

Using VWO Engage, Tiendeo sent targeted web and app pushes linking to client catalogs, exclusive offers and coupons, and optimized send times and messaging; they also experimented with different campaign combinations. VWO helped Tiendeo achieve a 30% higher engagement versus email newsletters, an average push click rate of 23% (all-time high 33%), and increase returning visitors to 49%, with the team noting VWO’s ease of use for non-technical staff and valuable domain insight.
