Slight Improvements Helped Springest Increase Form Submissions Using A/B Testing

Springest, an Amsterdam-based independent comparison site for training programmes, wanted to increase completions of its lengthy brochure request form so more visitors would request free brochures from course providers. To address this, Springest used VWO's A/B testing platform to create and test an alternative version of the form against the original.

Using VWO, Springest tested a variation that removed the intro text and logo, added social proof (user quotes and well-known brand logos) in the sidebar, and changed required-field asterisks to “optional” labels for non‑required fields. The VWO-run test delivered a 5.21% lift in form submissions with 97% confidence from over 2,500 conversions, a change Springest estimates is worth roughly €50,000 this year.
