The Portland Trail Blazers, an NBA team, faced usability issues in their online conversion funnel that hurt ticket sales. Working with digital agency Sq1 (a certified VWO partner), they used VWO’s A/B Testing to address navigation problems—especially a hard-to-read horizontal menu that confused mobile and tablet users and obscured the Individual Tickets option.
Sq1 redesigned the navigation into a vertical menu and ran a site‑wide A/B test on the VWO platform; the new layout made the Individual Tickets option more prominent and easier to scan (helping ~15% tablet traffic).
