SmileyCookie, a gifting arm of Eat’n Park Restaurants, wanted to know which value proposition in their prominent site header would drive more purchases for perishable, occasion-driven cookies. Using VWO’s A/B testing/optimization platform (engaged by agency Trinity Insight), they tested five different header creatives to determine which message resonated most with visitors.
VWO’s testing showed the “Order Today -> Ships Next Business Day” creative outperformed the site average: a 12.61% conversion rate vs. the 8.98% site average, an average order value of $29.95, and a per‑visit value of $3.78 vs. $2.68 — a 41% increase in purchases, statistically significant at 95%. The experiment demonstrated that fast-shipping messaging drives more conversions for SmileyCookie, and VWO’s platform delivered the measurable uplift.
