Scanitto, the Russian developer of Scanitto Pro scanning software, faced a conversion challenge on its landing page: visitors were offered both a free trial download and a Buy Now option, and the team wanted to increase purchases. Scanitto used VWO’s A/B testing platform to explore how changing the CTAs would affect visitor behavior.
Using VWO, Scanitto removed the Buy Now button to create a single-CTA page focused on the free trial and A/B tested that variation against the original. The VWO test delivered a 29.75% increase in free downloads with 97% statistical confidence, showing that the simplified CTA reduced visitor friction and encouraged trial use that could later convert to paid purchases.
