Majestic Wine, a UK wine retailer expanding its online presence, wanted to grow conversions from its Weddings services by increasing enquiry form submissions. The company used VWO’s testing/optimization platform to validate hypotheses about page content, layout and messaging to capture higher-quality leads for larger, higher‑value orders.
Using VWO, Majestic Wine launched redesigned versions of its Weddings category page that reduced clutter, sharpened the USP and copy, improved images, added a video and repositioned CTAs, then removed a distracting “Download PDF” button. The VWO-driven tests produced a 201% increase in enquiry form submissions (99.99% statistical significance) and a further 36.9% lift after removing the PDF button.
