Leadpages, a Minneapolis-based landing-page and conversion tool maker, needed a faster way to boost traffic and conversions on its site and blog. Marketing Project Manager Jason Martin evaluated push notifications and in April 2016 signed up for VWO Engage from VWO to test web push as a real-time traffic and engagement channel.
Using VWO Engage push notifications with targeted copy and links to landing pages and posts, Leadpages achieved an average CTR of 18% (with a peak of 25%), saw push deliver 3X the response of email, and recorded an average session time of 2.5 minutes and a 40% bounce rate for push traffic; over 6,000 blog readers opted into push and 500+ email opt-ins are attributed to VWO Engage. Leadpages plans to expand frequency and segmentation as they continue using VWO.
