A VWO Case Study
Zalora, a leading online fashion retailer in Asia, faced a challenge: customers weren’t noticing its free delivery and returns messaging on product pages, which customer service believed was suppressing checkout rates. To tackle this, Zalora partnered with VWO and used VWO’s A/B Testing platform and VWO Services to design and run optimization experiments across its English and Chinese product pages.
Following Zalora’s ZERL research process, VWO Services implemented two variations—shifting the word “Free” to the left of CTAs and adding “& Free Returns” next to price—using VWO’s Visual Editor and Code Editor with complex targeting to exclude inapplicable SKUs. The VWO-run test found Variation 1 increased checkouts by 12.3%, with VWO’s technical expertise speeding deployment and ensuring reliable results.
