A VWO Case Study
Tom’s Planner, a small web-based project planning software from Curaçao, wanted to boost the number of visitors who sign up for accounts from its home page. To tackle this, founder Tom used VWO’s A/B testing capabilities to optimize the homepage experience, which originally featured two CTAs (sign up and watch demo) above the fold.
Using VWO, Tom’s Planner tested a variation that added an above-the-fold, four-field sign-up form and a directional cue to focus attention. About 3,000 visitors were included in the test and the variation increased home-page sign-ups by 43.85% (reported as 44%), demonstrating that VWO’s A/B testing helped reduce friction and significantly improve conversions.
