How Moho Implemented A Simple Idea To Increase Its eCommerce Sales

Horloges.nl, the eCommerce store run by Moho Internet Concepts in Groningen, needed a leaner product-page banner that conveyed more trust to boost conversions. Using VWO’s A/B testing tools, the online marketing team tested a tighter banner that replaced some copy with an explicit “2 jaar garantie” (2-year guarantee) alongside existing trust cues like “Officieel dealer” and shipping promises.

VWO was used to implement a 780×52 variation that condensed messaging and added the guarantee; the test (run over two months) produced a 41% increase in revenue for visitors who viewed the G-SHOCK page at 95% significance and a 6% lift in average order value. The uplift allowed Horloges.nl to absorb shipping costs (making shipping effectively free) and was created in VWO in about 30 minutes with only minor HTML changes.
